A New Chapter

After 21 years of living  in a very small farming community,  hubby and I found ourselves empty nesters and in a house  (and  yard) that were too big to keep up.   We sold it,  downsized and are now living in a much smaller and more manageable  mid century home in a nearby town.  All of our furnishings looked great in the big old farmhouse but out of place in this 1951 brick ranch. I will be posting tidbits (and photos) of this work-in-progress as we slowly change the decor, update the rooms and revamp the yard as time and finances allow. We are aiming for mid century modern (although I still have a fondness for pretty things) with a little Kitsch thrown in.
